Wirtz Wire EDM, LLC offers the benefits of a direct material engraving, non-contact, abrasion-resistant, permanent laser engraving onto almost any type of material. High-speed, high precision, micro-marking, laser engraving markers are ideal for a wide range of industries and integration applications.
Using a fiber laser, Wirtz Wire EDM, LLC uses state-of-the-art technology with the highest laser beam quality. High precision laser markings are achievable on almost any type of material including gold, platinum, silver, brass, stainless steel, carbide, copper, titanium, aluminum, as well as a wide variety of medical-grade alloys and plastics.
Identification text, serial numbers, corporate logos, 2-D data matrix, barcoding, graphic and digital images, or any individual process data can be produced with laser engravers.
With our rotary fixture, Wirtz Wire EDM, LLC also has the capability to mark the outside or inside diameters of round components.
While not considered for cutting thicker materials, laser engravers are perfect for cutting thin materials such as metal, rubber, and plastic. Gaskets, for example, can be cut with ease, as well as with certain size shims.
